The winner, Lanspark (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Chepstow on 24 November 2023, where the gelding finished fourth of six runners, beaten 37½ lengths.
It was noted that Robbie Llewellyn could offer no explanation for the gelding’s improvement in form.
Following the race, Caoilin Quinn reported that High Stakes (IRE), placed third, jumped right-handed.
