Permission was given for Spirit Of Bermuda (IRE) to go early to post and for Red Fascinator (GB) to wear a red hood to the start.
A query was raised as to why Richard Hannon was running Zwelela (FR) here at Leicester on going described as Good to Firm, having reported that the filly was unsuited by the going following its last run at Newmarket on 1 May 2021 on ground with the same official description.
The representative of Richard Hannon explained that they were happy for Zwelela (FR) to take her chance on Good to Firm going at a different track.
Cream Of The Crop (IRE), trained by Michael Bell, was late entering the Parade Ring due to difficulty fitting the tongue strap onto the filly.
Following the race, Pat Dobbs reported that Zwelela (FR), placed third, ran too freely.
