An enquiry was held into the circumstances surrounding the ground staff removing the final hurdle in the backstraight on the final circuit of the race.
All of the Jockeys from the race, the Clerk of the Course, the Head Groundsman, the Assistant Head Groundsman and two of the Fence Attendants were interviewed.
Due to the low cloud cover, no recordings of the incident were available.
A report was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.
