Permission was given for GOOD LISTERNER (IRE) to go early to post.
The winner Lucky Ava (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Goodwood on 29 April 2022 where the filly finished ninth of ten, beaten by 10 lengths.
Conrad Allen’s explanation that Lucky Ava (GB) benefited from the return to the all-weather surface where the filly had won previously, was noted.
Following the race, Alistair Rawlinson reported that Saatty (IRE), placed fourth, jumped awkwardly from the stalls and that he took a precautionary check entering the bend leaving the back straight.
