An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching 2 furlongs out when Star Cactus (USA), placed second, ridden by James Doyle, interfered with Zaisan (GB), placed fourth, ridden Adam McNamara and the winner, Genuflex (GB), ridden by Tom Marquand.
Doyle was suspended for 3 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed without correction causing McNamara to take a check off heels and Marquand to become tight for room.
