The Clerk of the Scales reported that Craig Nichol, the rider of Chidswell (IRE), placed fifth, had been unable to weigh in due to the gelding being attended to by the Veterinary Surgeons for a substantial amount of time in the unsaddling area.
The Stewards were satisfied that the correct weight had been carried throughout the race and confirmed the placing of Chidswell (IRE).
