She’s my only winner during the week and has won twice. She was great although Colm was a lot further back than he wanted to be. He got a bit squeezed after the start but he said once she came down the hill he didn’t really have to go for her. She won well in the end and is as tough as old boots.

The Stewards enquired into an incident about one furlong from the finish involving Newcross, ridden by R.C
Colgan, placed second, Political Policy, ridden by G.F. Carroll, unplaced and Queen Iseult (GB), ridden by D
O'Brien, unplaced, where it appeared that Newcross tried to challenge between the other named horses but was tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards advised R.C. Colgan to ride with more care. Mr. John Powell, Acting Steward, did not attend this enquiry
