The performance of Full Bore (IRE), which started favourite and finished last of the six runners, beaten by 23½ lengths, was considered.
The representative of Nicky Henderson could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance, other than James Bowen reporting that Full Bore (IRE) had stopped quickly.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Conor Shoemark reported that Forecast (GB), unplaced, made a bad mistake at the third last hurdle; the Veterinary Officer reported that the gelding had lost its right fore shoe.
