Following the race, the representative of Sir Michael Stoute reported that Alhaazm (GB), which started favourite and finished third, was unsuited by the ground, which was officially described as Heavy on this occasion, and would prefer a faster surface; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Alhaazm (GB), during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities other than the colt had sustained a minor wound to its right hind.
