It was good tactical ride from Pat. He said beforehand that he would be keen to make the running,. He was a very fit horse and knew his job. The blinkers helped him concentrate and he kept going to the line. We'll try and go for a Listed race with him. He didn't surprise me there as he's been working nicely. He idled at the Curragh last time and I was a bit disappointed with his run. We put blinkers on him the other day just to help him concentrate and they sharpened him up.
