It was noted that Nicky Richards could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance other than Big Bad Bear (IRE) was never travelling on this occasion.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Big Bad Bear (IRE), during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
