The winner, Monsieur Co (FR), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Perth on 24 September 2020 where the gelding was pulled up.
Keith Dalgleish’s representative’s explanation that the gelding benefited from the drop in trip from 2 miles 4 furlongs to 2 miles 1 furlong was noted.
Monsieur Co (FR) was routine tested.
Following the race, Ross Chapman reported that he pulled up Oak Vintage after being hampered by a faller at the second last; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Oak Vintage failed to reveal any abnormalities.
