The Stewards interviewed P.T. Enright, rider of Kaiser Black, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that P.T. Enright was in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g) in that he used his whip with his arm above shoulder height, and having considered his record in this regard suspended him for 1 raceday

D.J. McInerney, rider of Irish Mustard (GB), trained by P.J. Colville, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost its action and pulled up lame.
