Permission was given for Libertine Belle (GB) to be mounted in the chute.
Inside the final furlong, the winner Libertine Belle (GB) shifted slight left causing the rider of Bondi Girl, placed fourth, to take a slight check and switch right but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Libertine Belle (GB).
The winner Libertine Belle (GB) appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Goodwood on 3 June 2022 where the filly finished seventh of seven beaten by 8 ¼ lengths.
Stuart William’s representative’s explanation that Libertine Belle (GB) appreciated the return to the all-weather surface and the drop in class was noted and the filly was routine tested.
