Permission was given for Girl Magic (GB) to go early to post wearing a red hood and for Dora Penny (GB) to wear a hood in the parade ring.
Inside the final furlong, the falling back Cuban Breeze (GB), placed fifth, hampered a fast-finishing Cruise (IRE), placed second, resulting in the rider of Cruise (IRE) having to check and switch off heels but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that there was no riding offence involved.
Following the race, Hayley Turner reported that Cruise (IRE) was denied a clear run inside the final furlong.
