The winner, Cap Horner (FR), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Lingfield on 18 February 2019 where the gelding was pulled up.
The representative of Seamus Mullins explained that the gelding had benefitted from a drop in class and the testing conditions.
His explanation was noted; Cap Horner (FR) was routine tested.
Following the race, Hugh Nugent reported that Royals And Rebels (IRE), which was pulled up, was never travelling.
The Veterinary Officer reported that Hepburn (GB), placed third, had lost its left-fore shoe.
