Approximately 2½ furlongs out, Anyonecanhaveitall (GB), placed second, edged right onto Whiskey And Water (GB), placed fourth, which in turn tightened up Dark Lochnagar (USA), placed fifth, on the rail, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Anyonecanhaveitall (GB).
An enquiry was held to ascertain why two sub-contracted treaders in were on the track when the runners came around the final bend.
The Clerk of the Course, Head Groundsman and riders Jason Hart and Connor Beasley were interviewed.
Having heard their evidence, the matter was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.
Following the race, Sir Mark Prescott’s representative reported that Hydroplane (IRE), placed eighth, failed to stay the 2 mile trip.
Sean Davis reported that Euro Implosion (IRE), unplaced, ran flat.
