Inside the final ½ furlong the winner, Gale Force Maya (GB), hung left as Tenax (IRE) shifted right leaving Kolossus (GB), placed third, short of room, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Gale Force Maya (GB) An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final ½ furlong when the winner, Gale Force Maya (GB), ridden by Paula Muir interfered with Tenax (IRE), placed second, ridden by Faye McManoman.
Muir was cautioned for careless riding as she failed to take sufficient steps to prevent her mount drifting left carrying Tenax (IRE) off its intended line.
Following the race, Sophie Ralston reported that Raha (GB), placed fifth was never travelling.
