An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the final fence when Tribesmans Glory (IRE), placed second, ridden by Thomas Doggrell, interfered with the winner, Eaglehill (FR), ridden by Aidan Coleman.
Being a 7lb claiming conditional, Doggrell was offered the opportunity to have someone accompany him in the enquiry but declined.
Doggrell was suspended for 5 days for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to drift left-handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear of Eaglehill (FR), causing that gelding to clip heels.
