Permission was given for Isabella Ruby (GB) to go early to post and be mounted in the chute.
Glamorous Crescent (GB), trained by Christopher Mason, was late in the Parade Ring due to the trainer having won the previous race which was late off and had contributed to David Probert being late to weigh out, having ridden in the race.
Approximately half a furlong out, I'm Watching You (GB), placed third, edged right-handed momentarily, causing the rider of Sir Roderic (IRE), placed fifth, to ease in his riding and shift slightly right-handed, which in turn caused Pastfact (GB), placed sixth, to become unbalanced, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of I'm Watching You (GB) or Sir Roderic (IRE).
Following the race, Megan Nicholls reported that Bounty Pursuit (GB), unplaced, was never travelling and David Probert reported that Glamorous Crescent (GB), unplaced, hung right-handed.
Lisa Williamson reported that Isabella Ruby (GB), placed eighth, was unsuited by the undulations of the track.
