Mick Charlie turned 12 today and is still running around the gallops with the young lads every day. He is a good old horse at this level, he has a mark of 91 over fences so could go back over them. He'll probably find it harder over hurdles now but is a good sound horse whom we like.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed C. Brassil, rider of Toor Moon, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, C. Brassil accepted he was in breach and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found C. Brassil was in breach of R.10.3(i)(time to respond) and in considering his record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays
