The Stewards requested a report from Henry de Bromhead, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of An Dearthair Og, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that today's drying ground conditions in what he felt was a moderate contest, had brought about today's improved performance. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
