An enquiry was held into the circumstances surrounding a piece of railing on the road crossing turning into the straight on the first circuit, which was removed in time for the second circuit.
The Clerk of the Course and Aidan Coleman, the rider of Geordie Des Champs (IRE), were interviewed.
Having heard their evidence, a report was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority for further consideration.
