He was obviously a bit fitter than I thought. He is heading for the Plate at Galway now. If the ground is good he'll go there with a reasonable chance. He is rated 132 and that should see him in with a nice weight. I'd have been happy with a good run here. He pulled a muscle at Newcastle the last time he ran (on the 28th of November 2009) and that saw us missing Punchestown and it made Galway the objective. Eoin Griffin, trainer
