The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Theatre Run, trained by M.A.Cahill, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal
The Stewards requested a report from J. Morrison, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Arch Melody, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Darren Pratt, authorised representative for the trainer, reported that his charge had disappointed on its previous run when racing too prominently. He felt a combination of a change in tactics today and running in a handicap for the first time, may have helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form.
