An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching the second last hurdle involving BUCKO’S BOY, placed fourth, ridden by Page Fuller; the winner, Soul Icon (GB), ridden by Harry Kimber; Swaffham Bulbeck (IRE), placed third, ridden by Ciaran Gethings and Denable (GB), placed second, ridden by Brendan Powell.
The interference was found to be accidental as Soul Icon (GB) was presented into a small but legitimate gap, at the same time as Denable (GB) edged marginally left-handed and Swaffham Bulbeck (IRE) edged marginally right-handed causing the rider of a weakening BUCKO’S BOY to take a slight check.
