< Ambiguity landed a gamble in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Race at Tipperary.
Aidan O'Brien's Fastnet Rock colt was supported down to 4-6 favouritism but was anchored at the rear of the five-runner field.
Donnacha O'Brien, sporting the colours of his mother Anne-Marie, brought him down the outside with his challenge and didn't want to resort to the whip, but Eacharn s resolution forced him to, although Ambiguity never looked in trouble and triumphed by a comfortable two and a quarter lengths.
O'Brien snr doubled up courtesy of the Seamie Heffernan-ridden Kellstorm in the Fundraising Events At Tipperary Races Maiden.
The Galileo colt, third to stablemate and Derby favourite US Army Ranger at the Curragh at the beginning of the month, had to work slightly harder than odds of 4-5 suggested he would, but he still proved a length and a half too strong for Evening Hush < Lady Giselle bounced back to form in the Tipperary Racecourse Celebrating 100 Years Handicap.
Chris Hayes sent the 9-2 shot to the front at the top of the straight and try as Ancient Sands might, he couldn't quite get to John Walsh's mare, who scored by half a length.< Doc Sportello had to concede weight all round in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden but did so convincingly in the hands of Oisin Orr.
The 9-4 market leader, who was an encouraging fifth in a better Curragh race on his debut, took it up at the furlong marker and kept on to beat High Speed by a couple of lengths.< Bluesbreaker (5-1) was the least exposed of the Book Online At TipperaryRaces.ie Handicap contenders and finished over the top of Sweetest Taboo to prevail by half a length.< Lake Takapuna (11-8 favourite) struck for Jim Culloty in the Point To Point Evening 12th May Maiden Hurdle, while M M D Sizer took the Follow TipperaryRaces On Twitter Maiden Hurdle.
