Review thurles 9th Nov
Willie Mullins was in double-winning form at Thurles, completed when Brahma Bull extended his unbeaten record in the Thurles.ie Maiden Hurdle.
A winner of all three of his bumper races, the 2-9 favourite tracked long-time leader Eviscerating throughout, before striking for home at the second last under Paul Townend and easing to an 11-length success.< True Self got the ball rolling for Mullins when easing to victory in the Templemore Mares Maiden Hurdle.< Flamingo's Court was faster than the 2-5 favourite through the air at many of the hurdles, but Brian Hayes always appeared to have more horse under him and so it proved, as she coasted clear after the last to win by six and a half lengths.
Dot Love's Solar Heat boxed on bravely to repel all challengers in the Thurles Beginners Chase.
The 6-1 chance led a number of challengers approaching the last and found plenty for Barry Browne's pressure to fend off Naturally Blond by a length and a quarter.
Trainer and jockey Denis Hogan had few concerns when guiding Eiri Na Casca to a wide-margin success in the Littleton Handicap Chase.
Hogan held up the 6-1 chance in the early stages, but he made ground on the outside and strode clear under pressure before the last, beating Little Stevie by 11 lengths.
Noel Meade's Daly Tiger (7-4 favourite) looks a horse with a bright future after bolting up in the Toboradora Flat Race, coasting to victory under a motionless Nina Carberry on his first outing under Rules.
John Burke's Like An Open Book (11-2) showed top weight was no obstacle to success when scampering clear under Martin Burke to win the Two-Mile Borris Handicap Hurdle.
Moses McCabe's The King's Baby (9-2 joint-favourite) found the line came just in time to hold fellow market leader Lockeen Girl a length at bay in the Ballagh Mares Handicap Hurdle under Donal McInerney.
