Preview naas 22nd Feb

Mansony has rekindled the old flame in the last couple of months and he is out to complete a hat-trick in the paddypowerpoker.com Newlands Chase, the feature contest of a seven-race card at Naas.

The 10-year-old beat the ill-fated Thyne Again easily in January and though arguably lucky last time when Big Zeb fell, he was not stopping and was a long way clear of the rest at the line.

Watson Lake led those chasing him home at Punchestown and could be the main danger, while Carthalawn ran a cracker behind Glenfinn Captain last time and merits respect.

The Woodlands Park 100 Nas Na Riogh Novice Chase looks likely to be an informative contest, one which could go to another hat-trick-seeker in Hurricane Carter.

A seven-length winner at Gowran in January, he was an accomplished scorer at Clonmel earlier this month and fully deserves this step up in grade.

His main opposition could come from Punchestown winner Joncol, while Majestic Concorde will be expected to run a big race too.

Zaarito will look to book his place at the Cheltenham Festival by landing the paddypower.com Johnstown Novice Hurdle.

Colm Murphy's charge opened his account over timber with an accomplished display at Punchestown and could have too much class for the unbeaten Oligarch Society and the consistent Go Native.

Arkmore Radar has been raised 11lb for his Clonmel success, but he is still rated 17lb lower over hurdles than fences and can take the Osborn 's Solicitors Handicap Hurdle.

Moses McCabe's charge was a solid winner over shorter last time and may relish the step up in trip, but if his stamina gives way, expect Dun Doire and Freemantle Doctor to take advantage.

The paddypower.com (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race looks between Quadrillon and Rite Of Passage, while Kendor Dine could be the answer in the paddypowertrader.com Handicap Hurdle.
