Review limerick 5th May
Shark Hanlon 's prolific bumper winner Clondaw Warrior shrugged off a lengthy absence to strike at the first time of asking over hurdles at Limerick.
The 8-13 favourite was always to the fore in the www.limerickraces.ie Maiden Hurdle, but appeared to have plenty of challengers breathing down his neck turning for home.
A fantastic leap at the last soon put the race to bed, however, and he came home three lengths ahead of Jim Jim Maccool under Brian Hayes.
The Jessica Harrington-trained Gimli's Rock got up late to land the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Beginners Chase.
Tommy Treacy was at pains not to hit the front too soon on the 5-1 chance, who looked to be travelling best in third over the last.< Rockshandy put up a real fight on the run-in, but Gimli's Rock proved too strong, coming home three-quarters of a length in front.< Tough Talkin Man proved impossible to pass when making every yard to land the GAA Supporters Day 20th May Handicap Hurdle.
Seamus Roche's 8-1 chance found plenty for Mark Darcy's urgings in the closing stages, and closed out a spirited victory by a length and a half over favourite Golden Ticket < He's Our Man gave trainer Ross O'Sullivan his first winner when just getting the better of a thrilling duel with Spot Fine in the June 16th & 22nd Twilight Racing Maiden Hurdle.
The pair were virtually inseparable two out, and though the 11-4 favourite got the better of the battle at the last under Andrew McNamara, Spot Fine battled back to go down by just a neck.
John Clifford's Kilcross (25-1) Boy finished fast under Paddy Kennedy to land the first division of the Kelloggs Cul Camps Handicap Hurdle, while the second division went the way of 5-2 favourite See Double You under an exultant Ronan McNally.< Island Peak (5-1) ended a frustrating run of near-misses when landing the Provimi Handicap Chase under Brian Cawley.
