Colin Keane was the jockey to follow at Gowran Park as he landed a double for the Ger Lyons yard highlighted by the success of Toccata Blue in the feature Best Of Luck Kilkenny Hurlers Handicap.
Friday evening's Limerick scorer In Salutem hit the front a furlong out in the seven-furlong contest in his bid for a quick follow-up.
But Toccata Blue (9-2) was delivered with a late run by Keane and edged ahead close home to win by half a length, with In Salutem holding another late charger, Six Of Hearts, by a short head for second spot.
Keane and Lyons struck earlier when the once-raced four-year-old Adroit (7-4 favourite) stepped up from her Fairyhouse debut second with a comfortable victory in the Family Fun Day Fillies Maiden, sitting second before taking charge from the quarter-mile pole to score by a length and three-quarters.
Only three went to post for the Here's To Another Centenary Race but there was some quality in there and it was won by the Aidan O'Brien-trained Red Rocks Point (4-1), who led all the way under Colm O'Donoghue and held the odds-on Ebeyina by a length and a quarter.
The latter's trainer Dermot Weld struck with Leafcutter (7-1), who readily disposed of the opposition in the Gowran Park Racing Club Membership From 100 Euro (C & G) Maiden, slipping through a gap on the rail a furlong out and going clear to win by two and a half lengths under Pat Smullen.
The jockey was another to land a double, sending the Reg Roberts-trained Misty Lane (8-1) into the lead early in the Gowran Park Golf Club Societies Welcome Handicap and slipping clear down the centre of the track from the top of the straight before holding Naoise s rush by half a length.< Tom Dooley (9-1) flew late to take the BBQ Evening August 13th At Gowran Park Handicap under Declan McDonogh, while Kevin Manning swept clear in the final half-furlong on Teoleena (9-2) in the Sweet Sunday Sept 21st From 22 Euro PP Handicap.
