< Carlingford Lough landed an almighty gamble in the www.thetote.com Galway Plate after only making the final field as a late reserve.
John Kiely's seven-year-old was punted into 7-2 favourite after replacing Like Your Style, who is also owned by JP McManus and was withdrawn on account of the testing ground moments before the reserve deadline.
Tony McCoy was partnering the gelding for the first time and settled him in the middle of the pack as Mr Cracker set the early tempo.
Carlingford Lough wasn't jumping with much fluency and the writing appeared on the wall as he blundered four-out, but McCoy galvanised his mount and came with a withering run after the last to beat fellow McManus-owned runners, Quantitativeeasing and Jacksonslady with Muirhead fourth.
Tony Martin's Blackmail made an impressive start to his jumping career in the 100,000 Euros Tote Pick Six Guarantee Maiden Hurdle.
The 5-4 market leader was never far off the pace under Ruby Walsh and cruised to a 12-length victory over Enchanted Forest
Martin and Walsh doubled up with Victrix Gale (7-2 favourite) in the 40,000 Euros Tote Jackpot Guarantee Handicap Hurdle.
Walsh gave him a typically patient ride, arriving on the bridle turning for home before easing away from Happy New Year to score by seven lengths.
Willie and Patrick Mullins claimed the Tote Win 24% Better Than Bookmakers SP (QR) Maiden with Union Dues
A high-class bumper performer and eighth to stablemate Briar Hill at Cheltenham when last seen, the 11-10 favourite met trouble on the turn in but powered through the mud to beat Darwins Fox by six lengths.< Pyrus Gold Wind recorded a remarkable 12-length victory in what had looked a competitive race for the Bet 10 Euros Get 10 Euros At thetote.com Handicap Hurdle.
Dermot Weld claimed his fourth and fifth winners of the week with Lucky Kitten (11-8 favourite) and Jayed Jidan (1-5) in the Bet Online At thetote.com Handicap and Tote Return All Profits To Irish Racing Maiden respectively.
