Joseph and Donnacha O'Brien sparked a double at Ballinrobe when Thomas O'Malley ended a long losing run to take the Win Big With Tote Maiden.
A maiden after 11 starts prior to this contest, the 7-2 chance was pulled out wide to make his challenge and picked up well, eventually recording a length and three-quarter win at the line.
Donnacha was happy to anchor Detailed in the rear of the field early on in the Tote Handicap, but she picked up with some aplomb to complete the double.
The 7-2 chance came widest of all to make her challenge turning for home, but was too strong for Mr Adjudicator in the closing stages, scoring by half a length.
Pat Smullen's decision to take the Win Big With The Tote Handicap by the scruff of the neck a long way out paid dividends, as he found a willing partner in Remarkable Lady
Harry Rogers' 6-1 chance was well clear turning for home and simply galloped her rivals into submission, beating Vastonea by four and a quarter lengths.
Ross Coakley's heavy fall from Grandma Dotty overshadowed a solid performance from Daniel Redmond aboard Usa in the Tote Apprentice Handicap.
Stephen Mahon's 4-1 chance swept ahead after the home turn and kept on well, beating Ringo Kid by a length and three-quarters.
Coakley was taken to Galway Hospital as a precaution.
Kevin Prendergast's All For Nothing came out on top in a thrilling tussle with Six Silver Lane in the Tote Claiming Race.
The 6-1 winner had to pull out all the stops under Chris Hayes and the pair flashed past the line together, with All For Nothing getting the verdict by a nose.
Johnny Murtagh's Full Court Press (9-2) repeated his win of last year in the Tote Handicap under Connor King.
