Wickham Street - Finally One for Punters
Favourite backers, who endured a tough session, went home in better form having witnessed Wickham Street (evens into 4/5 on track, better this morning) oblige in good style in the Metal Man (C & G)(Pro/Am) Flat Race.
Padraig Roche was always happy in the J P McManus silks and he led in the dip on the son of Saddlers' Hall, sending him on from over a furlong out to comfortably eclipse Ballyvoile by four and a half lengths. Tommy Stack trains Wickham Street whose form figures now read 321. (EM)
