Watering maintains going at good to yielding

The going remains good to yielding for day two of the Punchestown Festival following overnight watering of the track.
Officials made the decision to water following a breezy and mainly dry day yesterday.
The action on a seven-race card once again commences at 3.40pm, and the highlight is undoubtedly the Coral Punchestown Gold Cup at 5.30pm.
Last month’s winner of the Timico Cheltenham Gold Cup, Sizing John is joined by another former winner of chasing’s blue riband in the shape of Coneygree Djakadam bids to pick up some valuable prizemoney for Willie Mullins in this €250,000 event, while Thyestes winner Champagne West Lexus Chase hero Outlander and the veteran Flemenstar complete a stellar line-up.
There are two other Grade 1 races today with the Irish Daily Mirror Novice Hurdle and the Racing Post Champion INH Flat Race both worth €100,000.
