Warrior wows with Wexford win
Arctic Warrior jumps spectacularly at the fourth flight

Champion Trainer Willie Mullins swerved Leopardstown in favour of Wexford today and witnessed his J.P. McManus owned Arctic Warrior (5/2) put his best foot forward to win the Micheal O'Murchadha Memorial Handicap Hurdle.
The error-prone son of Pastorius had pulled up, finished last and fallen on three recent outings and today put in a spectacular leap at the fourth flight, jumping shadow-and-all, en route to making all under jockey Jody McGarvey.
Mullins, earlier successful with Whiskey Sour at Leopardstown, commented “Jody was very positive on him and it paid off with his jumping. He’ll get confidence from that and I think he’ll improve.”
“That ground is very tacky and I think he’ll be better on nicer ground.
“We’ll go slowly up in grade. After those couple of falls he needs to get his confidence back.”
