Walsh gets the best out of Lilywhite
Ruby Walsh delighted favourite backers by getting the 8/11 shot Lilywhitedancer home by a length and a half in the Kilberry Novice Steeplechase. Ambrosia's Promise put up an exhibition of fencing here from the front but when she was headed from three out, Mighty Massini looked to be in pole position.
Ambrosia's Promise came back for more between the last two and with Lilywhitedancer's jumping not matching-up to that of his two rivals, the Willie Mullins runner appeared to be in big trouble.
However Walsh got a great response from Lilywhitedancer on the run-in and he stayed on better than the rest to prevail.
Walsh commented: "He'd prefer better ground." Mullins wasn't present.
