Glens Melody quickened up in good style to take the fillies bumper at Punchestown.
Katie Walsh 's mount swept past stable-mate Tasitiocht inside the final furlong as Willie Mullins saddled a one-two in the concluding contest.
Tasitiocht had hit the front early in the straight but had no answer when passed in the closing stages.
11/1 shot Glens Melody went on to post an impressive three-and-a-half length verdict.
"She's a half-sister to (Listed hurdle winner) Ceol Rua. She's a strong filly and obviously handles that ground," said Mullins afterwards.
The Closutton handler, who sent out three newcomers in the race, also saddled the fourth placed horse Chiltern Hills
It was a double on the day for Mullins, following the earlier victory of Hurricane Fly and his ninth in total this week.
