'Dusty' Foley rides out Auden for the Sligo win

Shane 'Dusty' Foley kept things simple from the front on Auden and the nicely-supported joint favourite kept the similarly well-backed Gra Geal Mo Chroi at bay by two lengths in the Family Day 14th July Claiming Race at Sligo.
Gra Geal Mo Chroi, a standing-dish in this event, didn't get a clear run in time under Fergal Lynch and in the final furlong she was never going to reel in the Ken Condon-trained victor.
Condon remarked: "We were struggling with him when we got him first. He was very keen at home and we tried a hood on him (first three starts of the campaign).
"We put the visor on last Sunday and he ran a solid enough race (3rd behind Morning With Ivan at Cork). He ran to around 70 so today's race was a good opportunity.
"He's in at the weekend but we might leave it for a while." (TW & EM)
