Ger Lyons and Colin Keane completed a Naas double when Party House looked smart on debut in the BBA Ireland Sourcing U.S. Winners Fillies Maiden.
Following on from the success of Coill Avon for Glenburnie earlier, here Party House was equipped with a tongue-strap for this ten furlong assignment.
The John Kalmanson-owned three-year-old raced in mid-division, and she was sixth two furlongs out.
Switched to the outer and ridden a furlong and a half out, the 10/1 shot was fourth a furlong out.
She came through to lead inside the final furlong, staying on well close home to beat The Blue Brilliant by a length.
“She’s shown us a nice bit at home. We were worried at declaration time about the ground but they have done a fantastic job,” said Lyons’ brother Shane.
“She won there over a mile and two and will appreciate stepping up in time. She’s as green as grass and should improve. Hopefully we will be hunting black type.
“She’s owned by the Kalmanson’s, John and Susan, who won with Watercolormemories here earlier in the season. They have a stud in South Africa and are very patient owners who are getting rewarded now.”
