Turf Range has proved a great servant to connections and recorded his fourth course win when readily landing the Crowne Plaza Dundalk Race & Stay Package Handicap.
The David Broad-trained gelding was racing off a career high mark of 70 but that proved no problem as he stormed home up the stands’ side rail.
The 6/1 shot was patiently ridden by Danny Gilligan and he oozed confidence as the seven-year-old finished strongly for an easy two and a quarter lengths victory. Roman Bull touched off Emperor Of Silk for the minor honours.
Gilligan said: "I rode him up here before and he ran well. He's a consistent old horse and seems to run well every day. There today, he was very good.
“He settled in lovely, got a bit of cover and, to be fair to the horse, he lengthened the whole way up the straight.
"One thing Dave said to me going out was 'keep him wide up the straight, he'll love that'. He couldn't have done it much better."
