In-form Tom Mullins doubled his score at Naas as Llancillo Lord owned by his wife Helen, convincingly landed the spoils in the Palmerstown House Estate Supporting Kildare GAA Handicap Hurdle.
Half-an-hour earlier victorious with the Mark Walsh-ridden Sir Scorpion in the featured Brown Lad Handicap Hurdle, here Paul Townend was in the plate on four and a quarter length Mullins scorer.
"He's turned a corner and is doing well so we decided to pull him out quick again. The good ground is a help to him. Everyone else is looking for rain but I was happy not to see any," said Mullins.
"He will keep going while the ground is good, and I think he will make a grand handicap chaser in time."
Patrick J.Flynn, trainer of Wrekin Rock reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge pulled up lame.
