Timoca battles well in finale
Timoca stayed on strongly to collar Northgate in the concluding 1m2f race at Dundalk on Saturday.
Shane Foley got a good tune from the filly as she led inside the final furlong for a length success.
"I thought there was no way we could beat Northgate - I'd make a bad handicapper," said trainer Eddie Lynam.
"Shane said she got into a little bit of trouble and that may just have suited her. She loves the all-weather and we might travel across the water and could step up to 1m4f."
