The going at Thurles is now soft, soft to heavy in places, following 10mm of rain since 6am this morning.
The forecast is unsettled with wet and windy conditions clearing to showers, with further heavy rain predicted later tomorrow.
Two of Willie Mullins' older brigade, Mikael d'Haguenet and Mourad head the six-runner field for the three miles conditions hurdle, while the Gold Cup winning team of Jim Culloty and Davy Russell, again sporting the purple and yellow colours of Dr Ronan Lambe, team up with Prince Of Lombardy in the two-mile maiden hurdle.

Alan has worked in the racing industry for well over 30 years including with the Sporting Life, Turform and Irish Racing Services. He took up his current role as Irish Racing Team Leader with the Press Association in 2013. He has a keen interest in most sports and plays golf.
