Kolachi made the most of his previous experience when getting off the mark at the third time of asking in the opening Castle Star Standing At Capital Stud Irish EBF Maiden at the Curragh.
Having shown promise when a staying on fifth on his racecourse debut at Tipperary in September, the Joseph O'Brien trained juvenile raced too keenly when third at Gowran Park last month.
Settling much better under apprentice rider Wayne Hassett here, the Invincible Spirit colt tracked the pace in fifth place in the early stages before moving closer two furlongs out.
Produced to challenge leader Chantilly over a furlong from home, the O'Brien colt soon settled the issue, powering clear to win by three-and-three-quarter lengths at 7-2.
Favourite Autumn Winter 6-4) kept on well for second, with Chantilly fading into third place.
Winning jockey Wayne Hassett said: “I got a lovely lead the whole way and he’s quickened up well.
“He ran well in Gowran the last day and that’s only his third run. I’d say he could get further in the future as well.”
