The Housekeeper made all and dug deep to fend off the favourite Sambremont in the three mile beginners' chase at Roscommon.
Sambremont (10/11f) improved from third to second with a full circuit to go as The Housekeeper set the pace.
There was three lengths between the pair before the third last. Sambremont closed up on The Housekeeper jumping the last but the latter got away from it quickly and shut the door on the favourite's chances by keeping up the gallop on the run-in.
The winning margin was two and a quarter lengths. Jarob who came off the bridle before the third last was 55 lengths away in third.
Handler David Harry Kelly said: "She's been very unlucky. That's her fifth run over fences and she's had three falls but she's tough to come back.
"I thought she would have gone close in Punchestown. She could have run in Limerick but I decided to come here as the fences are a bit smaller."
