Tellelle takes last at the Curragh
The concluding race on this afternoon’s card, the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Handicap was won by the Liam McAteer trained Tellelle in the hands of Martin Harley.
Harley who was never too far off the pace came through to take up the lead over a furlong out and the pair kept on well close home to hold off the fast finishing Notgonnagiveup by a neck.
Winning trainer McAteer said afterwards: “He didn’t get a run at Galway on both occasions.”
“Martin [Harley] said he never travelled as easy on a horse with a furlong to go.”
“We might step her up to Listed company next over that trip and she loved the ease in the ground.”
