Tea Olive gained her revenge on Duke Of Leggagh with a last gasp success in the Irish Injured Jockeys Handicap at Gowran Park this evening.

The latter had been a wide margin winner when the pair met at Navan three weeks ago but the Noel Meade-trained filly turned the tables on revised terms.

Duke Of Leggagh made the running in the mile contest but was strongly pressed early in the straight. Semblance Of Order pressed him hard and the pair were joined by Tea Olive in the closing stages.

Colin Keane got his mount's head down at the right time as she secured a nose victory at the post from the 10/3 favourite.

It was a first career success for the daughter of Mukhadram on her seventh outing.

Meade said:- “I thought she would win but I didn’t think it would be that close.

“I’d say she needed the run in Navan and she was 10lb better off today. In fairness to the other horse he’s run well again.

“I think she’s a nice filly and hopefully she will go on and win again. She will go for something similar and maybe over a bit further.”
