Tannery brings up a double for Wachman & Lordan
Tannery sees it out best from Shabra Emperor, Kashmir Peak and China One

Tannery was hammered in the betting when running into a 50/1 surprise packet last time. This time the one for money was China One in the Follow Dundalk On Facebook but Tannery was the horse to prevail, bringing to an end a sequence of three second placings. The success brought up a double for David Wachman and Wayne Lordan following Duntle s earlier eighteen length rout. Shabra Emperor proved tough from the front here in this extended mile and a quarter heat but Tannery eventually wore him down as Kashmir Peak also held every chance and China One came from the back of the field but he didn't change gear as might have been anticipated. Half a length, a neck and a length covered the first four home.
Wayne Lordan said: "They went along at a good pace. The runner-up stuck at it well and it took my filly a while to get him but she's very tough."
Tannery is a daughter of Dylan Thomas out of the Sadler's Well’s mare Danse Grecque. (MG & EM)
