Swamp Fox will bid to follow up on his win at Ballinrobe last month as he lines up in the feature on the final day of the Killarney July Festival, the Dawn Milk Run Handicap Hurdle.
The son of Windsor Knot landed the valuable Coranna Handicap Hurdle at the Co Mayo venue, with subsequent winners Polar Present and Plinth in second and third.
Barry Browne will take a valuable 7lb off his back and he can be expected to go close here before a likely trip to Galway. Is She Diesel was disappointingly beaten at Down Royal on her last start, but it would come as no surprise if she bounced back to winning ways with JJ Slevin in the saddle. Moonday Sun was fifth in a Grade Three at Tipperary on his most recent outing, and he is sure to have plenty of supporters with Davy Russell in the saddle, while others for the shortlist are Camlann Copy Print and the John Kiely-trained Le Curieux
Jody McGarvey will be aboard Le Curieux, and he looks to have strong claims on Le Richebourg in the opening Killarney Welcomes Bordeaux Novice Hurdle.
The son of Network impressed when winning his maiden over the course and distance in May, and he can be expected to follow up now.
Joseph O'Brien trains Le Richebourg and he saddles two in the Killarney Grand Live Music Venue Handicap Hurdle.
He runs Hallmark and Immortal Bridge in this two-and-a-half mile contest, with McGarvey aboard the former who is tried in cheekpieces for the first time.
O'Brien is again double-handed with All The Answers and Aspen Colorado in the Dawn Hi Lo Milk Beginners Chase.
Both look strong contenders, while others to consider are Bilko Our Dougal and My Painter.
Denis Hogan trains My Painter, and his Wexford winner Nulife looks the one to side with in the Europe Hotel & Resort Handicap Hurdle. Dark Outsider The Trigger William Du Berlais and Invincible Don are a few for the shortlist in Dawn Omega Milk Handicap Chase, while Clondaw Warrior should prove hard to beat in the Rentokil Initial (Q.R.) Race.
Ten have been declared for the concluding Christy Lucey Transport Limited Flat Race, and Special Ted might be able to make it third-time lucky after he was placed on his first two starts.
